Adoption & Lost Pets

Sunday Adoption Fairs

Fur-Ever Friends volunteers dedicate themselves to the Forsyth County animal shelter every Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm by keeping its doors open to help you find your new furry friend. We also socialize with the animals by taking them on walks and otherwise spending much-needed time with them.

For a preview of the animals that are currently up for adoption, click on the Forsyth County Animal Control link under Adoption Resources below.

The shelter is located at 5570 Sturmer Park Circle, near the corner of University Parkway + Shattalon Drive in Winston-Salem. The adoption phone # is 336.703.3647 (336.703.DOGS) .

DIRECTIONS: I-40 to Hwy 52 North. Go about 7 miles and take the University Parkway SOUTH exit. In approximately 1 mile, at Shattalon Drive, turn Right. Take the next right (across from the fire station) onto Sturmer Park Circle. Veer slightly to the right – the shelter is the white building at the top of the hill.
