Educating law enforcement officers on ordinances and guidelines for assessing animal cruelty situations is vital to
Fur-Ever Friends' mission. At least once a year, training sessions are held with a certified animal cruelty investigator for law enforcement and Assistant District Attorneys. To date, over 200 law enforcement and Assistant District Attorneys have been trained, representing 30 different agencies and 18 counties.
In addition, Fur-Ever Friends maintains a cruelty fund that offers monetary rewards for the arrest and conviction of persons responsible for acts of animal cruelty.
