RICO REQUEST

Our Rico Fund was established in memory of Rico, a former Police K-9, to assist animals with severe illnesses and injuries. We also provide funds to help individuals who are kind enough to help a stray animal - even if not injured or ill - but want to do right by the animal and have a Veterinary examination, obtain vaccinations, or schedule a spay/neuter surgery.

All requests are evaluated based on need in order to help as many animals as possible.

If you need assistance with Veterinary costs for your pet, please click here to submit your request. Providing the information requested on the form will enable us to help you sooner.

If unable to fill out the form for any reason, you may email us at ffnc.info@gmail.com. In your email, you must include the following information: your first and last name, pet's name, your email address, your zip code, type of animal (cat, dog, or other), sex of animal, type of service requested (vaccines, wellness visit, spay/neuter surgery, other medical procedure), details on what you need, and name of Veterinarian clinic you plan to take your pet to, if known. Please note, we do not have a phone number to call you in regards to your request. You will receive a response via email from Susan Doran, not Fur-Ever Friends, so please be sure to check both your inbox and spam folder.

We receive multiple requests for help almost daily, and are only able to provide a limited amount of financial assistance. Additionally, our assistance is based on income - except for help for stray animals - so you will be asked to provide proof of income via a photo of a recent paycheck or evidence of government assistance (for example, an EBT card, Medicaid card, disability letter, or a school ID if you are a student).

You may also submit a request via our Facebook page.
